We would like to make your inprocessing as speedy and as efficient as possible. The in-coming sponsor must provide the following information and documentation to our school registrar: (Registration packages will not be mailed and must be completed by the incoming sponsor or spouse upon arrival to this duty station; provided spouse is listed on orders or can only be completed by someone with a power of attorney for registration purposes when sponsor delegates this authority). We will hand the parents a registration folder which will contain the necessary forms for registration and the parent may either complete the package in the school office, take the package with them and return it when completed or register on-line. In addition to the enrollment forms, we will need the following: Sponsor Original Orders (and dependent orders if dependents came on separate orders) |
Registration Quick Links |
Birth Certification - Either a Birth certificate or a Passport ONLY for children entering kindergarten or first grade.
Child's Social Security Number - Non-American citizens are assigned a dummy social security number by the school for computer entry purposes only.
School Records from previous school and/or the school address when records need to be requested.
Immunization Records - When the nurse is not available, the school registrar will give the sponsor a school immunization form to take to the immunization clinic. The clinic will review the shot records and inform the sponsor of any missing immunizations. The sponsor will bring this form back to the school office along with the immunization records as the school will make a copy of these records for our file. All shots must be up-to-date as per DoDDS requirements. Teachers must be given notice of their newly assigned student in order to adequately be prepared with a desk, chair, texts, etc., thus if the child is registered by 1100, the child can begin the next day. If the child is registered after 1100, the child will begin 2 days later. If the child is registered during school breaks, the child will begin on the 2nd day back after vacation in order to give the teacher the due notice.
Parents will be given the following: school handbook, school rules (school policies / discipline plan / DoDDS Zero Tolerance for Weapons), Supply List, Maps to our school (given to parents during the school year when rooms have been designated), Memorandum on Medication during the school day, School Phone Numbers & DoDEA web site addresses, Applications for Free/Reduced Lunches (which will be turned in to the Schools' Officer for processing), Volunteer Forms, National Goals for Education, Notice from the Director (on Eligibility).
Students will go on Study Trips during the school year. Parents will receive notification from the teacher and will be required to give permission each time, unless it is an on-base walking trip in which case you will receive a notification through the teacher and no permission will be required.
School Bus Transportation arrangements will be made by the parents at the Bus Office. Any questions about transportation will be handled by that office.
